Robyn Lawley doesn't want to raise her daughter like other daughters are raised.

She’s got a new parenting style.

As an Aussie supermodel, Robyn Lawley has always been known for breaking societal moulds, and she is approaching motherhood no differently.

The 25-year-old had her first baby with partner, Everest Schmidt, 28, in February this year and has just done her first interview since becoming a mum.

The first time mum spoke to Brands Exclusive magazine about her daughter, Ripley and the way she wants to tackle parenting with her baby girl.

“I want gender neutral toys and clothes,” she told the publication.

Lawley opened up about wanting to raise her daughter in a gender neutral way, because she doesn’t want to place pressures on her to be a certain way just because she’s female.

“In all honesty, I think we separate the genders too greatly by the toys and hobbies,” she told Brands Exclusive.

The supermodel was on the cover of Exclusive magazine and posted the cover shot to her Instagram account with the caption. “@brandsexclusive @beauticate @robynlawleyswimwear#robynlawleyeats thanks guys for this awesome piece photo by @jaketerrey”

Lawley's story in the magazine shines light on needing to parent all kids the same way - no matter what their gender.

Lawley posted the first photo of her baby girl in early March. Upon the baby's arrival a statement said,  “Everest and Robyn are incredibly in love and smitten with their little girl."

The gorgeous first photo was a black and white snap of baby Ripley.

While the doting parents aren't married, Lawley has told the media that she would definitely marry Schmidt in a heartbeat.

We hope there's wedding bells soon.

What do you think of gender neutral parenting?
