You can get more sleep than Snow White, religiously apply eye creams morning and night and yet still be inflicted with those pesky incurable dark under-eye circles. Thanks a lot, heredity.
As a mother of a two-year-old, I know a thing or two about (“sleep deprivation”) concealing puffy eyes and the purpley-blue circles that make us look a lot older than we actually are.
I’ve discovered a new product (“magical elixir”) in Garnier’s, BB Cream Eye Roll On, and it has completely changed my make up routine.
Just as an FYI, you should know that this post is sponsored by Garnier BB Cream. But all opinions expressed by the author are 100% authentic and written in their own words.
Just like a BB Cream, the Eye Roll On is several products in one: it corrects dark circles and puffiness, reduces signs of fatigue, smooths fine lines, brightens eyes and hydrates the delicate eye area.
Previously, I used a long-lasting concealer under my eyes, which looked great straight after application but turned cakey and sunk into my creases once 3 p.m. rolled around. One of my biggest beauty pet peeves is heavy, dried-out, matte concealer under eyes as it only draws attention to the area, and yet there I was falling victim to an inferior product.
Enter Garnier’s BB Cream Eye Roll On: this little beauty is easy to apply, the roller applicator feels refreshing, and skin is instantly brightened. It doesn’t crack or slip during the day; it’s light, emollient but not greasy.
One of the magic ingredients in this treatment is Haloxyl, an active ingredient known for effectively fighting against dark circles and the formation of puffiness. Also enriched with mineral pigments, the Eye Roll On immediately corrects dark circles thanks to its concealing tint.
Before and voila, after! My eyes look a little crazy in the after photo but I’m just really excited.
I used the light shade, which may initially look too dark for women like me who have a fair skin tone. But this is where many women go wrong with concealing and correcting. A formula that is too light will give you reverse-raccoon eyes. Ideally, you want a concealer in a shade that blends into your skin and foundation.
After applying the Roll On, a did a quick sweep of my go-to BB cream, Garnier’s BB Cream for Sensitive Skin, and I was ready to walk out the door – my new make up routine took all of two minutes to complete.
What is it? Garnier’s BB Cream Eye Roll On.
What does it do? It corrects dark circles and puffiness, reduces signs of fatigue, smooths fine lines, brightens eyes and hydrates the delicate eye area.
Why do I need it? To help visibily reduce the appearance of under-eye circles and puffiness.
Best suited for: Everyone, this product is suitable for all skin types.
Range available: Light
RRP: $13.95
Available at: Coles, Woolworths, Priceline and selected pharmacies
After trying (almost) every BB cream on the market, I keep going back to Garnier’s BB Cream – I’m on to my third tube – so when I heard about the Eye Roll On release I had high hopes for it. And I’m not the only one who loves it, it’s flying off the shelves. I had to visit four stockists before I could track one down to buy.
I noticed a visible difference in under-eye hydration after using Garnier’s BB Cream Eye Roll On for one week. Friends and colleagues complimented me on my skin, and I generally looked well rested. When in reality, I had a week of 3 a.m. wake up calls from my toddler and a bout of tonsillitis.

Nicky you don't even have dark circles!! I wish my dark circles looked like your dark circles. Your skin is so super clear, you're so lucky. I've used this product previously but I think it looks a bit yellow on my skin tone. I use the normal Garnier tinted under eye roll on and I love it. I don't like the feel of foundation on my entire face as I feel almost claustrophobic so I just use this under my eyes.
I'll have to get the BB eye cream. I also have genetic dark circles, which I have real trouble minimising. I use the Garnier eye roll on cream and the BB cream at the moment.
