Beauty road test: Garnier BB Cream Eye Roll On

You can get more sleep than Snow White, religiously apply eye creams morning and night and yet still be inflicted with those pesky incurable dark under-eye circles. Thanks a lot, heredity.

As a mother of a two-year-old, I know a thing or two about (“sleep deprivation”) concealing puffy eyes and the purpley-blue circles that make us look a lot older than we actually are.

I’ve discovered a new product (“magical elixir”) in Garnier’s, BB Cream Eye Roll On, and it has completely changed my make up routine.

Previously, I used a long-lasting concealer under my eyes, which looked great straight after application but turned cakey and sunk into my creases once 3 p.m. rolled around. One of my biggest beauty pet peeves is heavy, dried-out, matte concealer under eyes as it only draws attention to the area, and yet there I was falling victim to an inferior product.

Before and voila, after! My eyes look a little crazy in the after photo but I’m just really excited.

A formula that is too light will give you reverse-raccoon eyes. Ideally, you want a concealer in a shade that blends into your skin and foundation.

After applying the Roll On, a did a quick sweep of my go-to BB cream, Garnier’s BB Cream for Sensitive Skin, and I was ready to walk out the door – my new make up routine took all of two minutes to complete.
