The precious hours before an international flight are often filled with a never-ending source of “do I have everything” anxiety.
Singer Ricki-Lee Coulter briefly lived our worst-case-scenario after she arrived at the airport and failed to find her passport.
The 31-year-old posted a selfie to fans on social media to tell them of the travel disaster.
“The moment you get to the airport for an international flight and realize you left your passport at home,” she wrote on Instagram.
The post was soon followed up by another that let fans know she’d actually just packed it into her suitcase. Derp.
“Turns out I packed it IN my suitcase! #Idiot,” she captioned the image.
Fans have also flooded the image of the passport with exclamations of joy and surprise that the singer was originally from New Zealand.
“You are a Kiwi, awesome,” one fan said.
“Don’t worry sticky we’ve all been there!”
“Classic! Something I would do! Safe travels!”
It was not revealed where she was flying to but the songstress is renowned for being a frequent globe-trotter.
Coulter recently shared never-before-seen images from her 2015 wedding, set in the rolling greens of the French countryside.
The singer married long-time love and manager, Richard Harrison, after six years together. The wedding was said to have been an intimate affair with only their closest friends and family invited.
