The four words that caused a carriage full of commuters to collectively lost their minds.

Is there anything funnier than a train full of screaming commuters hysterically jumping on seats as a rat runs free through the carriage?

No. No there is not.

That’s probably why this video has had nearly 200,000 hits in two days.

On Monday morning, just as the doors were closing on a New York train, a very special rodent-passenger jumped aboard at the last second.

The guy who filmed the ensuing chaos on his phone had this to say:

“Someone getting off the train was screaming ‘RAT on the train!’ But by the time everyone realized what was happening, the doors closed and the train entered the tunnel. We were stuck with him till the other end.”

Worst. Nightmare.
