Is there something in the salon water? Not one but two former Miss Universe Australia beauties have changed their hair in a big way this week.
First it was Jesinta Campbell and her new shoulder-grazing cut. Then Rachael Finch went there.

While mindlessly scrolling through Instagram this morning we couldn’t help but notice the 26-year-old media personality and mum looked a little different.
Okay, “a little different” is an understatement – Rachael has snipped several inches off her famously long hair, and added a little blonde action around her face. “Change is good for the soul. Thank you @quecolour for my colour + @fotinihatzis for my chop!” she captioned the shot.

It’s not exactly a lob (shock! horror!), but it makes a strong case for the power of a mid-length cut – not to mention it’s gloriously summery and makes us want to go to the beach. We also can’t help wonder which Aussie beauty queen is next in line. Will Jen Hawkins get a bob now? Only time will tell.
