Did you pack your own lunch? Was it your mum or dad’s job? Did you take the same thing every day or was your lunch full of crazy leftovers? Did you have the type of lunch that everyone else envied or did yours tend to go straight in the bin as soon as you were at school? And am I the only person who had a Muppet Show lunchbox in primary school? Over to you ….

Cheese and vegemite sandwich. Every day. Can live on it and still do.
:)
When I was in primary and high school my mum packed me a vegemite sandwich every day. When I got married (at aged 21yrs) I packed myself a vegemite sandwich everyday, except for when I was pregnant and had vegemite on dry biscuits to help with morning sickness. When I had the children and was a stay at home mum for 20 years, I made my weeks supply of vegemite sandwiches which I kept ready to eat daily in the freezer. I was a perfect size 8-10. I went back to work at aged 40 yrs. and discovered there are more varieties of lunch. Now at 70 yrs. I love eating healthy lunches, vegetarian, but have put on 4 kgs. I still have vegemite on Corn Thins (dry biscuits) but now top vegemite with nutella or jam. I am a Happy Little Vegemite.
