Nicolle- you did an incredible job at articulating so many aspects of grief. It resonated so much with me and with my friends who have lost a parent. Thank you for sharing your experience, it was so real and universal.
Agree! I friggin WISH I could do , like, ANY of these options. It’s more like- be woken up by one or more children and be forced to pour cereal before I’ve even peed. Dream about going for a walk but that would mean leaving kids alone to fend for themselves. Then it’s two hours of being my children’s maid, frantically getting myself looking HALF decent for work zooms, setting up kids computers for remote learning, drinking a cold coffee while multitasking and fantasising about the days where I could wake up whenever I wanted, drink a coffee hot and experience a single day uninterrupted.
