Hard relate! I often joke that hiring a cleaner saved my marriage. Also investing in a cordless stick vaccum.. amazing and incredibly satifying to run around in 5 minutes getting the worst of the weekly build up. But it's absolutely helped my mental health, having a tidy house, and lessened our fights about the inequality of the domestic load. Totally understand not everyone can afford this however.

Totally agree. I have my son starting Kindy next week. His first 4 weeks they have Wednesdays off. I work full time. Its bloody hard to do deep think work when you're being asked for a snack every 5 minutes. Let's send a submission to government! Talk to the minister for women or families or something. Something has to give.
