Not a lot of diversity here. I spend $0 month and am at my peak fitness. I run multiple times a week and use incredible YouTube Pilates videos each morning. I started doing these during COVID and never had any reason to go back. Sometimes I ‘buy’ them a ‘coffee’ online. Articles like these mislead people into normalizing excessive spending and make people who can’t afford to spend that amount to feel rubbish about themselves. Maybe ask a bigger mix of socioeconomic backgrounds and experiences next time?
It was nice to see the experiences of people on a lower income who probably represent a more typical Australian experiences (perhaps not the target market of MM). Would be also interesting to have a financial coach talk add a reflection and offer some suggestions. It has been mentioned before about the smoking, but the little treats and toys for the girls would make a difference too. I like the honesty of this account.
