I'm not sure what the real motivation is for releasing these texts publicly and the timing of them ..... or who actually called an end to the relationship.  Not my business nor anyone else's really.  I always feel uncomfortable seeing ex partners dish the dirt publicly for their own self validation or revenge.  I hope Sarah has found or finds a relationship where she can thrive along with someone who is supportive of her and her passions in life.  He has found someone who is prepared to tow his line ... they always do ... the hammer finds their nail.  Move on with your life Sarah with love and light.  Leave them to theirs.
