As someone who has also made a career change in my mid forties into the developer world (by taking on a Traineeship no less!), I totally understand the overwhelm of the coding side of things. I've found my niche in low code platforms, data engineering and also client engagement. Tech consultants really need people who 'get' the coding to a certain level but are more inclined towards the client interaction side. Have a look at Agile Scrum Masters! There's some amazing opportunities in the field without having to learn all the languages and web development etc.
