I was like you. Always wanted kids eventually. I couldn't understand the people who didn't want kids (though never rude enough to challenge or question them on it). I did end up having them (but before I get flamed for insensitivity) as I read this article all I wanted to say to the writer is your life already has meaning. Now I understand the people that don't want kids despite very often marvelling at how gorgeous the kids are. Your life already has meaning with or without children.
