I have been lucky enough to dine with Zac multiple times and I can tell you the chin accident is true but then again who cares if it's not! Zac is a lovely down to earth funny guy and would 100% fess up if it was all just cosmetic surgery.  He puts his body through incredible transformations for the roles he takes on. A truly talented performer who doesn't deserve the hate being piled on him. 

Could not agree more with all of this. Especially the Jackie point. Nothing endearing about that character at all!
