Finger Food Friday has been my saviour. Essentially, after a busy week of work or daycare, I don’t want to cook. The rule is: if you can eat it with your fingers, it’s dinner. Depending on what’s leftover in fridge or budget, it could be things like carrot sticks, hummus, crackers, boiled eggs, pizza, dumplings, cherry tomatoes, toast, sausages, cheese sticks, mango cubes, blueberries etc. My kids love it because they don’t know what they are to get and it’s a big surprise plus has all the bits and pieces they love. And little to no washing or cooking!
