I recall watching an interview where Nicola explained that her family had watched her all the way through the series, but for her season she specifically asked for a ‘vanilla version’ to be made for her family to watch because they were staunch Catholics (or words to that effect) .. Maybe the powers that be got confused and served us vanilla without the sprinkles 🤔💔
