Oh lordy. I am Gen X, wth is my acceptable sock look? 😃 I am a conservative age-appropriate dresser, but do like to (appear as though) I know the basics of farshun.
Tori's had *plenty* of experience with Jack's toxicity and outright mean dismissal of her feelings. At this point, if she still wants to be with him then they deserve one another.
The man presents like a common thug, and is almost literally a walking red flag.
@gigi2 omygosh, I love how thought-fully you have written this response. Thanks for articulating (our shared) thoughts so beautifully.
Also, where did her light-coloured eyes go?
This is 100% my story also. I'm now late 40s.
@rush no, we did not all know this. I'd no idea who Alannis was dating around the time of this album (nor did/do I care btw)
At 48 yo, I've never had a gang of friends of any type at all (except maybe somewhat in high school?). Consequently, as the years have rolled on I've become more and more of a loner, such that life has long since become a self-fulfilling prophecy. And I've never become a mother so never had that in common with other women either. Ah well, c'est la vie, eh.
I'm going to say that if the writer engages in "romantic" connections (her words}, not just sexual encounters, then she's *not* technically single during those times.
