What is not considered in this story is the right of the child to know who their father is, when using donated sperm. I say this as the single mother of a donor child who is given the right to know at 16, I know how important it is. To the child, not to the mother. In Australia this is the law and that is why there are fewer donors. Child rights need to outweigh everything.
