Tenille is an amazing advocate for Jobe and all children with dementia. I’m so glad Mamamia is raising awareness on this issue- often I talk to parents who have never even heard of childhood dementia.  the fact is as many children die from dementia as they do cancer in Australia, but the funding and awareness does not reflect this. 

Centrelink is pathetic. What they are putting you, and countless others no doubt, through is disgusting. I too think they purposely make it ridiculously difficult so people just give up.

I read the original article and I really feel for you. Please ignore those horrible comments- they’re not true and horribly unfair. No parent is perfect, and I hope you and your daughter can have a good relationship one day.
