Gillard was an excellent negotiator and managed to pass through hundreds of pieces of legislation, despite an extremely hostile and blocking opposition (Tony & cronies attempted to block everything Labor pushed through, but failed because they're incompetent negotiators).

Just face the facts - the majority of Australians are extremely upset that our PM is totally out of his depth, incompetent and an international embarrassment, and they are pushing through draconian and cruel cuts that are affecting the most desperate, while continuing to subsidise the big end of town. Govt jobs in social services and other depts are being axed Australia-wide, and funding is being cut left, right and centre. They are literally dismantling our social services/welfare system.

And all we ever hear from these soul crushing wreckers is 'it's all Labor's fault, waaaaaaaaaa,' because they are incompetent. Wake up.

Great points there. It's all a battle for him. He has no understanding of what it is to actually govern a country - only try to beat down the opposition. His constant referrals to the previous labor govt are a pathetic attempt to prop himself up and try to hid his total incompetence for the job. Attack is the last refuge of the bully.

The man cannot answer simple questions without spin. He's an embarrassment to the country, and manifestly unfit for the job.

C'mon, they're hardly in the same category in the 'backflip' dept. Gillard had to concede to the Green re. the carbon pricing, and that was her only 'backflip.' And boy didn't Abbott make a massive circus out of that. Then he proceeds to become completely untrustworthy in almost every 'promise' he made and backflip like a trained acrobat. There's simply no comparison.

You believe it's feminist to take away a woman's right to choose whether she brings a baby to term in her own body? That's what they also believed before the feminist revolution, when pregnant unwed girls were hidden away and their lives destroyed because their choice was taken away from them.

Try being a 40 something woman then, when practically every guy in our age group only goes for women 10 - 15 years (or more) younger. It's no wonder lots of older women try with younger guys - guys our own age aren't interested. There are a squillion blogs about it too, so I'm not alone.

It didn't spring from anywhere but a cynical brush off, because he really hasn't done one thing for women in his portfolio. In reality, he doesn't give a toss about anything except ripping up as much of our country as possible in the time he has left, to line the pockets of his rich mates. That's all.

If you are so duped by this Govt who can't say one honest thing if their lives depended on it, then you are the poor thick one I'm afraid. Also, the Labor Govt got us through the GFC, and with an international AAA credit rating. What have this pack of wreckers done but double the debt in ONE YEAR, and cut cut cut from the poor to give to the super wealthy conglomerates.

I don't know how anyone with a shred of humanity could support this wrecking ball of a Govt.

No one trusts pollies, but the current Govt seem hell-bent on destroying everything that makes this country great. Yes, they are particularly evil and the puppets of Murdoch and the fossil fuel industry - blatantly so.
