Someone close to me was dismissed as having a panic attack and almost ridiculed by the emergency staff for saying that she thought she was having a stroke. Turned out it was a brain tumour. Thankfully she's recovered after emergency surgery and radiotherapy

@thebasilattack by this logic everyone is a stay at home mum. Having another job is exactly what makes one a working parent and therefore not a sahm (acknowledging that caring for children and the home is hard work but it's not in line with these definitions)
