Thank you for writing this! I had a Mirena for 5 years and loved it! Getting mine inserted under anaesthetic was only a little bit painful for me, like normal period pain. 

I had the depo-provera injection and it was the worst thing I ever did! I had 3 rounds of injections and will never ever do it again and advise anyone looking at getting it to research the side effects. They use depo-provera to chemically castrate sex offenders!
