I did carry on with all domestic flights last year, the longest trip being 9 days. It is so liberating for many reasons: limited choice when away makes decision making on what to wear much easier, not having to wait at the carousel, knowing your luggage is at your destination and less to unpack and put away when you get home. Let’s face it, when we overpack we never wear it all! Next challenge, a month in Europe next July. A least it will be warm so I don’t need bulky items. I hope I can pull it off! 

I did this travelling to 5 different places last year. The longest was 9 days but even then I unpacked clothes I didn’t wear! I found it easier having less choice when away and your bag is always with you. It really is so liberating.
