History isn't always pretty, but times have changed. Many TV shows from 20 or 30+ years ago are likely to have aspects to them that we now find unbelievable or unacceptable. I do feel for the people involved. Thankfully times have changed. We've learnt, we've grown (and continue to grow). I'm guessing that much of what we consider acceptable TV in 2021 will also be considered unbelievable or unacceptable in 20 or 30 years' time. As long as we learn from history, that's life. We can't rewrite it. We can only learn from it. And we have. And are continuing to do so.
