I hope this is just some made up crap, Because why wouldn't you talk to the woman involved? Makes no sense what so ever. You deserved to lose friendships over this.  You call yourself a friend. I see someone who is jelous.

Thank you for sharing your story. My youngest son was/is an alcoholic and a drug user. It started in his teens and my perfect, smart funny little boy was swapped for someone that was violent and full of hate. So many nights I would have to go and get him because someone had called me to tell me he was in danger or so drunk he had passed out in the middle of town. I tried everything i could think of to help him. But he didn't want it and the night he turned 18 at 12:05am he walked out leaving all his belongings his wallet and his phone and never came back. I have seen him a few times in the last four years, (He is now 22).  But he has no desire to be a part of my life. It has broken me and changed me forever. 

I don't know you, But I have been you and I am so so proud of you. Keep going.
