I’m taking two O/S trips this year without my 12 and 14 y/o daughters. One to the US to see a girlfriend and the other to Bali with my husband for our anniversary.

We spend plenty of time with our children. At home, at sport, camping, day trips etc

If I don’t get a break from the day to day I’d be terrible parent
