It blows my mind Shaz that you think the hard question is "Why was the victim doing _____" how about asking hard questions like "why the hell do 4 men think it is okay to rape a 14 year old girl?"

Seriously it's mindsets like yours that make the "consequences" of rape so bloody lackluster for the perpetrators. Because the fault is placed on the victim instead of these awful, disgusting criminals. No doubt they'll face 5 years, prob less in jail if even that. Then be back on the street again to start over.
