I truly truly can not understand the appeal of this man. 

Mia I feel seen. My husband asked if I thought it was good. I’m not sure I can even be objective. It’s like talking about my close friends. They’re not perfect but I love them anyway. Like you I’m 51 and I’m not sure what that means these days. I get told all the time I don’t look 51….like that’s a compliment. No injectables just genes so luck of the draw, feel weird saying thanks but I do because I’m a polite Gen Xer 

Thank you Gemma for writing this. The tragedy of Melissa’s story has been playing in my mind since I read about the sentencing.  From my experience of having two babies there is not enough support. Melissa was let down by the system. 

I waited on a main road in Christchurch for hours hoping Duran Duran would randomly drive past when they were in New Zealand and Simon would stop and talk to me.  Like you Mara I was painfully shy so probably would have run a mile if it actually happened. He was my first kiss. Well a poster of him was 😜. The fantasies of a 14 year old.
