It's amazing how this could have been my daughter & I, but fortunately although we have always had a best friends type relationship, we somehow managed to keep the tether of mother & daughter in tact. We went through a rough patch when she fell for a boy in another state, let her second half of year 12 suffer & was in the process of moving out to be with him when it all fell apart. During that time, my mother hat was on more than ever & my heart broke when I felt the distance growing. When it all fell apart & the boy broke her heart, I was there to catch her & help her get back on her feet. She has many friends & spends lots of time with them but she knows she always has a soft place to land if she needs it & someone to listen & share her joys, sorrows & secrets with.
I found this cream to be lightweight with a botanical scent & a citrus undertone. A pea sized amount is all I needed to cover my whole face. I did experience a tingling and stinging sensation on application, but luckily it subsided after a couple of minutes without any further irritation. It absorbed quickly into my skin, but I found I needed to wait a few minutes before applying my make-up in order to avoid piling. It left my face feeling soft & hydrated all day. It comes in a 30ml tube, which is much smaller than most face creams, but a little goes a long way so it should last as long as the larger sized tubes. It is also the perfect size for travelling or carrying in your handbag. It is non comedogenic, so it won’t clog your pores and is made from all natural, vegan friendly ingredients. It is cruelty free and free from synthetic preservatives, colourants, fragrances and raw materials derived from mineral oils.
I found this delivered very similar results to a gentle micro-dermal exfoliator that I have used in the past. Since using this product I have seen a noticeable reduction in blackheads and breakouts & my skin looks so much brighter.
Glad there are a few on the list that wont break the bank ;)
I had some spotting at 12 weeks so I went in to get a checkup. I was sent in for an ultrasound where they informed me that there was no longer a heartbeat & my baby had died at 10 weeks. I was then sent to the emergency department to be admitted for a D&C where I sat waiting for over an hour. They finally called me in only to have a doctor tell me that bleeding in early pregnancy was normal & didn't necessarily mean that there was a problem. My husband had to then inform him that our baby had died. Instead of admitting me there & then, they sent me home & told me to come back the next morning. By then the back pain had started & I had what I can only describe as labour during the night & birthed my tiny little Angel at home. I called the hospital & they said I still needed to come in. I was devastated & having to leave my 1 year old daughter again was torture. I know that hospitals can be busy & sometimes they just don't have time to check files but I think there needs to be more care given in relation to miscarriage. It is a heartbreaking event & needs to be treated with care & compassion.
Come on Monday 👏
Unfortunately my skin didn't like the Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask at all. It didn't just tingle or feel warm for me, it burned. I did a patch test which was ok but when covering my whole face it was unbearable & could only leave it on for a few minutes. After washing it off my face was smooth yes, but it looked like I was sunburnt. I would hate to think what it would have done if I gritted my teeth & left it on for the full 20 minutes. Highly recommend buying a trial size before committing to the full-sized product.
Great reviews. I would love to try this serum.
I started using all natural shampoos with no SLS, SLES or Parabens & my hair fall has decreased dramatically. My total hair loss for the week is now less than what I was losing everyday.
Wish I had joined 'You Beauty' earlier. This would have been an amazing prize to win!
