Telling parents that parenthood/motherhood isn't hard because of refugees is ridiculous. So compared to people dying of cancer and people who are refugees, then *nothing* is "hard." People who become parents are in all sorts of different sitatuations, with variations on how "hard" it is for them. For example, mental illness and physical illness/disability can make parenthood *very* hard. So can having a spouse die or leave. Or losing a job. Or having abusive parents who try to insinuate themselves into your life after you have your own kids. All things that can make parenthood stressful. Now, maybe upperclass women with nannies who are in great health don't find it hard, but what percentage of the population is that?
