Gross, these men sound quite revolting. It's hard to believe they are in their early-mid thirties - they sound a lot younger. The way they treat women who they don't want to seriously date (intentionally testing them etc) says way more about their character than it does the "boundaries" or "standards" of the women they are trying to date. I'd question how much these guys like or respect themselves, given their behaviour.
The financial advice makes good points, but I wouldn’t call someone who receives a large inheritance “lucky” and I think we need to be careful about framing it in that way…in order to receive an inheritance, someone actually has to die first. Often it’s someone close to you, like a parent, so not exactly no strings attached.
@darcy m I think it’s important to remember that you don’t know what someone else has gone through in their life and also it’s not a competition. I remember once being given that line, but unknown to the mum saying it, at the time, I had recently lost a parent. Needless to say, I knew very well what tired was and didn’t exactly appreciate her remark.
