I was on the same trip where Paula filmed and photographed all her sponsored content. To call this a 'very honest' review is an absolute joke when you're being paid to make it look good. Don't get me wrong I've loved the trains, I've done all three but the Great Southern was by far the most disappointing and this is clearly intended to be a boost for JB to upsell their newest journey. The 'vistas' and 'rolling views' are mostly only visible from one side of the train, so tough if your cabin is on the opposite side. The coastal route is actually pretty dull because there is so much civilisation that you spend too much time in rail yards and back blocks. Is definitely not on the same level as the Ghan or the IP at all. This particular trip was impacted by an issue with a freight train that completely upturned our schedule and we were stationary for hours at a time. Our experiences were cut short and the content here does not at all reflect what we did at the sand dunes, I was also on this experience and the influencers were left behind to film their body boarding while we were rushed off to lunch. You don't get to have pictures up with the loco like you do with the IP in Cook so that is also misleading.

Don't get me wrong they are great trips, but this is a very far cry from an honest review at all, and be mindful that they are at the mercy of everyone else that uses the rails as well. Out of three (quite expensive) journeys, I've only had 1 that went to plan.
