I totally agree with Matrescence. Having two sets of twins I can say I’ve been in that state of overwhelm and even burnout. The transition we go through is incredible. Not just when we go through Labour though. Just the sheer mum admin that’s involved when you become a parent. It doesn’t matter how that parent was made , Labour, adoption, c section the transition is still mammoth. However I don’t. Agree with the headline. A main care givers role has always been a huge task. Yes it’s been amplified since the pandemic but it’s been exhausting and rewarding and a rollercoaster of emotions for a long time..
