To Chriswalk - Not sure where you are getting your 'conspiracy theory' hat from. It is crazy for you to think that someone would make this up. The whole point of this documentary is to get people talking and irresponsible comments like the ones you are making is counterproductive and utterly mind-boggling! 

You are expecting children who are so severely abused to have the thinking, the confidence and strength of a normal child who have lived in love and has been supported to their adulthood. These poor children were abused till well into their teenage years, whilst battling mental, psychological and sexual abuse at home and outside, plus dealing with dyslexia and bullying in school. Do you really think such young adults would be able to immediately feel free and confident to move on, even when they are 20. Not to mention the fact that Marcus was trying to protect Alex and moving out would have put Alex's progress under threat. Alex was still growing and learning about the world after his accident and amnesia.
