Scomo you are supposed to be the captain of the ship!Lead by example! My father died 7 weeks ago. I was unable to stay till the end due to borders closing. We cannot return or have a funeral or even cry together due to lockdowns. Meanwhile my first grandchild has been born and I cannot see her perhaps for months. I am very sad about it all but quietly accepting since I thought I had no choice. Seems that some do have a choice and money (my tax money) to burn on a flight when he could have driven for 3-4 hours to Sydney. Selfish p.g.

@cat  nobody is necessarily entitled to an inheritance. A person can leave their money to whoever they want. I meant that Facebook is not a good way to communicate such important life challenges.Meeting face to face would have been better. 

I don’t think I would have wanted a relationship with her either.I think chatting over Facebook in that way was intrusive.If she wanted to meet she had years. There may have been a ulterior motive(the Will). She may have indeed been untitled to a share,unfortunately.
