@simple simon yes, in the world of fast fashion and mass consumerism this is DEFINITELY a thing. A lot of people I know used to obsess over clothing like this. It’s been like this for over a decade now (in my experience), but also probably was a thing before my day too. 😆
@emmalouise1411 hi!! Thanks for your comment, I’m thinking of writing a story on more affordable options considering the feedback on this story! For me, I rarely ever buy clothes so I only try to buy things that last for years + I try to support Australian slow label brands. It’s difficult to promote sustainable and affordable so I opted for sustainable. I do really appreciate the feedback and I’ll keep you in the loop for the next story! @rush very true! It's hard to know what is paid for and what is 'gifted' through Block Bucks. They showed the Block Bucks booklet at the start of the season and it was about as thick as a dictionary!
@rush Author here! I just read your comment and thought I should respond since I obsess over the block (don't judge me). They have about $400,000 in Block money and their kitchens are mostly paid for by Kingsman (I believe? I'm not 100% sure of the kitchen cabinet makers). The actual reno money is mostly just going to labourers!

It's funny, my mum and outer family think this is really strange that I do this and don't reach out but my friends and siblings either think it's smart or they do the same thing. I should have probably mentioned that I'm not using my burner every moment I can, it's a more every-now-and-then situation... Like when I have a random thought about someone I've fallen out with or a person who isn't in my life anymore and I don't want them to see me looking at their account. Not sure if that makes it any better (haha) but I respect your opinion on this honestly and I knew it would be contentious! Thanks for commenting. 😄
@renee056 Hi, I wrote this story. Everything mentioned did happen. Actually, more than this happened but I did not include because then the story would have become convoluted, hard to read and even harder to believe. I assure you, I am not lying. Unfortunately, things were mishandled from the beginning and booking two seats became a major hassle because they never signed me in for the flight in the first place, so they had to go back and block one of the seats.
