Prince William laughing at his own joke about Kate Middleton's outfit is every dad.

He may be the future King of England, but Prince William is also the king of something else – Dad Jokes.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting a British military base in Cyprus on Wednesday when Prince William cracked a classic dad joke about Kate Middleton’s outfit.

According to William, Kate, who wore a AUD$1,100 olive green blazer with navy wide-legged pants, matched the Christmas decorations.

While posing in front of a Christmas tree with military personnel, the Duke of Cambridge joked that Kate’s outfit blended in with the Christmas tree.

“My wife’s camouflaged against the tree,” he said.

“Do you want me to move out of the photo?” he added, joking that Kate should be photographed alone with the tree.

To make matters even more hilarious, William just couldn't stop laughing at his own joke.

It's not just William who has a solid sense of humour – it turns out Kate does too.

While visiting military families in Cyprus, Kate got back at William by joking about one of William's worst habits – and it's one a lot of us can relate too.

While visiting the Oasis recreation centre in Cyprus, William pointed out some yellow couches in the corner of the room.

"Keep the pizza off the sofas," William said, according to People.

"You're a nightmare with that," Kate agreed.

In recent weeks, many publications have speculated that Kate and Meghan Markle are feuding.

A rumour that Kate and Meghan don’t get along was turned up to boiling point when it was announced the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were leaving their small Kensington Palace home for Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The Mail on Sunday reports the tension started last Christmas, when things apparently did not go well when they spent the holidays together at William and Kate’s country home, Anmer Hall.

A source said a “ghastly row” was sparked when Kate told off Meghan for being rude. There was also a rumour that Kate was “left in tears” at Princess Charlotte’s dress fitting ahead of Meghan and Harry’s wedding.

The Palace has since responded to the countless feud rumours with a short and sharp response.

"This never happened," the Palace told The Mirror.
