Right. So I started doing this regular weekly post about my week. Kind of a Tumblr inside a website. Kind of what Mamamia 1.0 was. And I was doing it on Friday because that’s a logical time to look back at the week, right? But it was starting to get confusing because we also run ANOTHER regular post on Fridays, where we ask “What were the best and worst moments of your week?”
So.
I thought I’d move this post to Wednesdays, change its name and also make it an open post in comments. Got anything you’d like to discuss? Anything at all? Any questions for me or anyone on the MM team?
Start chatting at the end. Meanwhile….
I was tired last week after the show. Can you tell? Since Mamamia on Sky News started 5 weeks ago, I’ve fallen into a bit of an emotional rollercoaster rhythm. Mondays, I start to get a bit antsy. Tuesdays I’m quite agitated and irritable. By Tuesday afternoon, I’m a bundle of nervous anxiety which builds until the show starts at 8pm. Wednesdays I’m drained. This photo was taken on a Wednesday…..
The Writing Of The Sunday Life Column
Sometimes when I need to write my column, I escape to the ‘lounge area’ in the office which is a posh way of saying ‘couch’. Here I am trying to pull the words out of my brain and put them in my computer….

I read "Mamamia" on the plane from Sydney to Perth last week and couldn't stop until I had finished the whole thing.
Other passengers may have thought I was a little strange though as I was spraying bits of airline cheese and crackers out of my mouth as I snorted with laughter, then wiping tears away a few minutes later...

Mia,
have been an avid and daily logger on this site to see your insights, thoughts and understandings of current social issues from both you and the mm team (not a poster though). Must admit I hated the new mamamia at first. It was new there are lots of new contributors and it happened at once.
Whilst I did not like the new format and different pieces from contributors at first I now love it!!
Congratulations I hope it is a resounding success. It can be stressful knowing if things can work out when implementing new things.
I love that christmas and the line 'and so this is christmas another year over and a new one begun' because I always reflect on the year that was. I hope you can look back and say yes it was stressful and tiring but shit it was good and successful!!
