The most popular girl names in Australia have been released, and Charlotte topped the chart.
It’s probably not a coincidence that a certain rosy-cheeked Princess Charlotte turned one in May of this year. The gorgeous name bumped Olivia, the most popular name for three years running, from top spot.
Hayley saw the biggest drop of any name, falling to 94th place. Penelope (which also happens to be the name of Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter) rose 17 places since last year.
