'I'm calling it. There are 6 buzzy beauty products that are going to be HUGE in 2023.'

A big statement, I know. But as someone who lives and breathes beauty, I have no doubt in my mind that these six products are about to blow up in 2023.

The best part? They're going to make your beauty routine a whole lot easier. And honestly - we love to see it!

From press-on nails to do-it-all serums, here's exactly what we're going to be putting on our faces, hair and nails this year.

You heard it here first.

1. Press-on nails.

We all love a good beauty shortcut. And when Kim Kardashian recently told Allure that she "can't do long nails anymore" before admitting that press-on nails are her go-to, I just *knew* they were going to have a moment.

Lo-and-behold, months after her interview, I've never seen so many press-on nails slide across my desk. And gosh they're good.

Inspired by my colleague, senior lifestyle writer Charlie Begg - who LOVES press-on nails, I gave them a whirl over the Christmas break - and I can totally see what all the fuss is about. They're so easy. So cheap. And they *actually* look good!

A couple of my faves? Instant Mani Co., $29.99 and Glowie By Her Premium Press-On Nails, from $39.90. They're both super easy to use, last for weeks and are cheaper than getting your nails done every month. Plus, way less damage!

2. Multi-targeted serums.

On the skincare front, get ready for a slew of multi-ingredient and multi-concern targeted skincare products. Because they're about to be everywhere.

While we got used to single-ingredient serums during COVID (which was great for education), it wasn't too long before our skincare routines blew out, everything got a bit too confusing, and we ended up with approximately way too many steps.

Enter: Multi-targeted serums.

These skincare products feature different ingredients that are formulated together to target multiple concerns at once.

Think serums like the cult SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic Serum, $233, Aesthetics Rx Ultimate Serum, $115, and Beauté Pacifique Defy Damage Skin Repair Serum, $80 - all great multi-taskers that tackle a range of different concerns in one.

Here's to going back to simpler routines.

3. False eyelashes.

Falsies are back, you guys!

As we begin to move away from beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions in 2023, we'll not only be seeing a lot more people embrace their natural lashes and everything lash care, but also dip their toes back into the falsie game.

The best part? There are so many great options out there right now - false lashes have come a really long way in recent years.

As someone who is not... great.... at applying extensions, new-generation products like Ardell Aqua Lashes, $5.50, make it easy. With these, you simply use water instead of messing around with glue. They have a range of magnetic ones, too.

Then there are the luxe, reusable options such as LoveSeen, $33 - which you can wear up to 10 times. The brand even came out with cute brass boxes to keep your strips in tip-top condition. Cute!

4. Scalp treatments.

As we all know, haircare is just as important as skincare - and if you're a person that likes to use heat tools on the regular or colour your hair, then you've probably already got a solid scalp routine down-pat. After all, a healthy scalp is the secret to better hair.

Predicted by Pinterest as one of the biggest trends for 2023, the 'skinification' of the scalp is set to be a major focus in the beauty space this year, with searches for scalp treatments skyrocketing.

And you can expect to see heaps more in this space. From scrubs and serums to oils and masks - there will be a wave of buzzy new hair and scalp products hitting shelves this year.

A couple of favourites are Straand The Crown Fix Prebiotic Serum, $28, MOROCCANOIL Dry Scalp Treatment, $47 and Aveda Pramasana Nourishing Scalp Masque, $62.

5. Peptide lip treatments.

While peptides in lip care isn't necessarily a new thing, off the back of Hailey Bieber launching Rhode's Peptide Lip Treatment and it subsequently exploding in demand - I think we're going to start seeing more and more peptide lip products getting around.

Not only do peptides help plump and smooth your lips, but they're also great for hydrating them - which is basically everything you want in a lip product.

If you're looking for good options, NUDESTIX Hydra-Peptide Lip Butter, $28, Hydropeptide Lip Service, $70 and PCA Skin Peptide Lip Therapy, $50, are all great options.

6. Cosmeceutical skincare.

Boring-looking products are in! With cosmeceutical skincare products from brands like Mesoestetic, SkinCeuticals and Medik8 spiking in popularity this year (thanks to TikTok and celebrity endorsements) - you're about to see medical-grade skincare products go bananas.

Following on from 2022, this year will see people continue to gravitate towards brands and products that offer science-backed ingredients and real results.

Because while COVID offered lots of cool, viral products and pretty packaging, many people are now educated in what works for their skin (and what doesn't) and are ready to take their 2023 skincare routine to the next level.

Would you try any of the above products? Given them a whirl already? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.
