Tween Skinfluencers are Taking Over Tik Tok, What If They're Damaging Their Young Skin?

There's a new wave on 'skinfluencers' hitting our social media pages of late and one of those posting is 11 year old Pixie Curtis.

In videos and photos posted to her Instagram, the tween is often seen boasting about her luxury items, from haircare, fashion and even cars. She's also posted shopping hauls showcasing a number of beauty products and skin care that has some people concerned she may actually be damaging her skin.

With the rise and influence of social media, younger and younger Aussies are getting into skincare routines - but how do we know what's safe?

In this episode of The Quicky, we speak to our resident beauty expert Leigh Campbell about exactly what damage these tween skinfluencers may be doing to their delicate skin.
