You may have heard about a new miracle weight loss drug called Ozempic.
Videos have been spreading online of users claiming insane weight loss in short periods of time. Even celebrities like Kim Kardashian have been accused of using it to slim down. There's just one problem...Ozempic is a medication designed for people with Type 2 Diabetes.
Why is that a problem? Since the trend emerged, Ozempic, and other drugs like it, have had global stock issues. Meaning those who actually really need the drug aren't able to fill their prescriptions.
In todays episode we look at whether Ozempic really is the answer to our weight loss goals, or if we're just being sold another addiction that will cause more health issues than we started with.
