Her entire childhood, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was made to believe she was sick.
Her mother, 'Dee Dee' as she was known, told Gypsy, and the world, that her daughter was terminally ill, confined to a wheelchair with her head shaved. Gypsy was told she had leukaemia, seizures, muscular dystrophy and developmental issues. She was fed through a feeding tube.
In 2015 Gypsy and her then boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn, whom she met online, plotted to murder Dee Dee.
In this episode of The Quicky, we take a look at the life of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. How she took revenge on her mother, and where she is now.
