SUBSCRIBER: "I'm So Sorry, They're Inside". The Impact of January 6

On January 6th 2021, the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. was attacked by a mob of supporters of then U.S. President Donald Trump, following his defeat in the 2020 presidential election.

Amelia Lester was living in Washington, D.C. at the time, and in this episode she joins us to share her personal experience of having a loved one inside the Capitol Building on the day of the attack.

Plus, we unpack the possibility of it ever happening again and why that date will be even more complicated this election.
