Pippa Middleton's first public words.

It’s been almost a year since the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton and what was the beginning of the Pippa Middleton phenomena.

In that time – despite having paparazzi following her every day to and from work and having her picture splashed across the pages of every second gossip magazine, the sister of The Duchess of Cambridge has never spoken to the media.

Until now.

Pippa chatted to a journalist after she completed a grueling cross-country skiing race in Sweden this week. She didn’t say much to the man who followed her across the finish line, stating simply that the race was “tiring” and she was an “average” skier.
