ICYMI, the Australian media and anyone who still cares about the royal wedding got the shock of their lives when Pippa Middleton and new husband, James Matthews arrived in our great nation for their honeymoon.
Staying in Sydney, the newlyweds took it easy, using their time down under to enjoy some low-key activities after what we can only assume has been a bloody hectic few weeks.
Like climbing up the Sydney Harbour Bridge. And going for a casual 5km run around the water. And eating RAW Kangaroo. Sounds relaxing.
But thanks to some hard hitting reporting from Sylvia Jeffreys on Thursday morning’s Today Show, we now know where the couple slept (among other things) during their visit. And hint: you probably can’t afford it (no offence).
A favourite among our rich and famous foreign visitors, Pippa and James stayed at the luxurious Park Hyatt Sydney. The penthouse suite, which is perfect for celebrating a special occasion like a honeymoon, goes for a cool $19,000-a-night, so you can be damn sure the robes would be fluffy, and the sheets whatever is better than Egyptian cotton.
The hotel, which is reportedly Tom Cruise's go-to when staying in Sydney, sits right on the water near Circular Quay and The Rocks, and boasts a number of luxurious amenities including an enviable harbour view.
For starters, the suite has six private balconies providing 360 degree panoramic views, as not to disturb the couple with common folk. The suite itself has all the usual fancy perks, such as a massive spa bath, sauna and steam room, a separate living space with a gas fireplace, as well as the biggest bed ever, which looks out onto the water through floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
There's also a rooftop pool and lounge area, which appears to be a lot of fun.
Basically, it's the kind of place you could picture yourself having a really good time.

Pretty sure royal watchers wouldn't be surprised that a commoner has spent her honeymoon in Australia, let alone experience "the shock of their lives".
