They are beyond amazing, very intense and NSFW.
Line Sena is a 33-year-old Brazilian photographer who specialises in pregnancy and birth photos. The mother of two recently expanded her repertoire into home births, when she realised an increasing number of Brazilian women were choosing to have them.
She explained to BuzzFeed that this is because, at times, the Brazilian health care system can be so faulty that women require unnecessary treatments after giving birth.
For this reason, Sena decided to give birth to her own son at home. “The closeness that’s forged with your partner, the strength, patience, gratitude, and the bond that is created with your birth team” is unlike anything else, she said.
She has continued her series which she posts on Facebook. By photographing other women, Sena is able to relive the experience of her home birth.
