We are so happy for them both.
Peter Stefanovic, 32 and Sylvia Jeffreys, 28 will no longer have to figure out time differences because they’ll be back in the same time zone soon.
Peter will be returning to Australia this year after completing his stint as a foreign correspondent for Channel Nine.

The high profile media couple have been together since early 2014 and have been in a long distance relationship ever since they started dating. We're sure it will be a welcome change when Peter returns to Sydney's Channel 9 studio in a few weeks - with his feet on home soil.
Not only will the duo be in the same country, they'll be working in the same building, but their schedules will be completely different because Sylvia, who is the Today Show's news presenter on Channel 9 will continue with her very early starts.

Peter has reported some huge stories and breaking coverage around the world while working in the US for the LA Bureau and in London in 2012. He also covered stories in Europe and the Middle East. So apparently he is expecting to take some time off before returning to the Sydney newsroom.
His replacement, Tom Steinfort tweeted about his new role saying, after Peter, he had some very big shoes to fill.
Peter is the younger brother of Today host Karl Stefanovic and so his and Sylvia's relationship has had quite the light shone on it after Sylvia begun her role alongside Karl.
We just hope the love birds enjoy some much needed time together - in the same time zone.
