Do you know anyone with a perfect, um, specimen?
Because there’s an actual penis museum in Iceland in the market for one, but the competition is stiff. (ZING!)
This is all a little bizarre so let me give you the basic rundown:
A new documentary called The Final Member follows the story of Siggi Hjartarson, the founder and curator of the world’s first and only ‘Phallological Museum’. For 40 years, Siggi has managed to collect and display specimens from every mammal on earth. Here’s some examples:
But alas, poor Siggi is missing one final mammal specimen: Human.
Siggi desperately needs to put a human penis in a jar so he can complete his perfect penis collection.
And that may be the best sentence I’ve ever written.
A nice old Icelandic man has promised his penis to the museum after he dies. But that really pissed off this dude in America, who thinks his perfect human penis deserves to be the first penis put in a penis museum. He actually thinks his penis is so perfect, that he’s prepared to have it removed RIGHT NOW, while he’s living, so that he can ensure his penis will be the first to go on display.
So now Siggi, who’s just a humble penis museum owner/operator, has to deal with two guys competing to give him their penises.
And that’s basically what The Final Member is about. You need to see this trailer:
Cannot WAIT to see this movie. You can pre-order the DVD from here.

A number of years ago, we stopped in at a little place called Miniature World in Stawell. It was an amusing little spot, well past its prime, memorable mostly for a very buff poster of a male bodybuilder in a g-string in the men's toilets, and an alarming collection of statues made entirely of human teeth. Made me wonder if we were about to drop down into a pit, murdered for our molars.
But Miniature World pales in comparison to Penis World. Iceland must be so proud.
I remember Stawell Mini World being quite the attraction in the 80's :-) Often advertised on rural (BTV6) television.
I was the place to go in the 80's! We used to beg to go there for everything, birthdays, Saturdays etc etc..... I fairly sure we went twice and only because Mum caved under the pressure! :)
