Suzanne Crough, the actress who played the youngest member of the Partridge Family has died aged 52.
Crough, who was best known for her role as Tracy Partridge, died suddenly in her home in Nevada on Monday. An autopsy will take place today.
From 1970 to 1974 Crough portrayed the youngest member of the on-screen family. She starred alongside Shirley Jones and David Cassidy in the TV sitcom where widowed mother Shirley Partridge starts a band with her five kids. They travelled from show to show in everyone's favourite multicoloured bus.
Crough's character Tracey was known for playing the tambourine.
Following the Partridge Family, Crough went on to star in other 70's shows as a child star including "Mulligans Stew".
The red head reunited with her former castmates in 2010 when the Partridge Family reunion aired on Today.
Crough leaves behind two daughters and her husband.
