Michael Jackson's daughter hits back at 'haters' who are making her suicidal.

Late Michael Jackson‘s 17-year-old daughter said this week that she goes to AA meetings in a now-deleted comment she shared to Instagram.

What was impressive about the comment she shared was that Jackson took a stand against her haters, revealing her thoughts on the unrealistic expectations from fans that she be more responsive on her social media accounts.

The teen wrote:

“This is f**king ridiculous. i am expected to literally sit on my a** all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)? i have aa meetings to go to. family obligations. PERSONAL obligations. its so f**king selfish that i am literally attacked on every f**king thing i post just because people that i DONT EVEN KNOW aren’t getting what they want. I don’t know any of you. I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f**king ridiculous. the expectations for my DAD were f**king ridiculous. he didn’t owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. i will not let that happen to me.”

The teen also compared the expectations people place on her to the pressure felt by her late father to meet expectations made by the general public.

“He didn’t owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds daily. I will not let that happen to me,” she said.

The actress also addressed her 2013 attempted suicide:

“People have been ramming me since the second I unchecked the privacy button. I’m just not taking sh*t anymore… like when I was 14 and deleting every single comment by hand because people were fighting too much and sending so much hate to the point where I was suicidal? It’s always been like this.”

The late icon’s daughter stayed at a residential treatment facility in Utah in June 2013 after she attempted suicide.

At the time, Jackson’s mother tweeted: “She is strong like her father.”

It is unclear what prompted Jackson to post and then delete the comments, but with the amount of scrutiny the teen is under, we can’t blame her for wanting just a little more privacy.

All power to her.

GET OFF SOCIAL MEDIA. Your life is no-one elses business UNLESS you make it so.

Yeah, that was my thought too. She is just going to be a magnet for all that sort of online BS, maybe a break (or at the very least, resetting to private so she can still share stuff with people she trusts) would be better, until she is more able to cope.

Thank you Capt Obvious. It appears to be a hard earned lesson for so many these days.

It continues to astound me how many folks just don't consider it as one of their options so no apologies for 'statements of the blindingly obvious'.

No apology needed. I agree with your comment, I should have worded it better.

If social media is making people feel bad, then they should get off it! It's not rocket science.
